MENTORING AND COACHING
RURCON has Africa wide experience in over 36 African countries. We are able to provide on-going mentoring and coaching services to our clients. Our experienced facilitators will help participants master and apply new skills through active involvement and a commitment to action and the development of a lasting personal growth and change.

PARTNERS
RURCON works through churches and Christian based organizations. Therefore, most of its partners are church-based. The partners are both in Africa, Europe and Germany. Most of the partners in Africa support RURCON through their prayers and being available for volunteer work in the area of training, sensitive counseling and consultancy, advocacy for justice and Organisation Development and Networking. Partners in Europe and America provide financial resources as well as enhanced capacity to carry out our programmes. These partners include Church Development Service (EED) Germany, Tearfund UK, Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC), North America.

TASK OF THE RURCON TEAM
Maximize use of local African initiatives and resources to:

Develop disciples
Promote integral mission
Train trainers
Counsel and consult on development
Involve both men and women in culturally sensitive ways
Practice genuine participation in appraisal and self evaluation
Foster links for effective local team work and networking
Encourage the exchange of indigenous knowledge
Enable better food security

Encourage sustainable livelihoods.

FUNDING
RURCON is a non-profit Christian Organisation, which depends on courses, seminars and workshop fees, grants and gifts from Individuals, and organisations within and outside Africa. Major financial partners include; Church Development Service (EED) Germany and Tearfund UK.
